One of the specialities is the Work Experience Program, with high-quality internships, volunteering programs and paid hospitality programs.
What is volunteering? Volunteering is giving your time to help someone else or a cause you care about, simply because you want to, without expecting payment.
Being a volunteer in the UK is a great opportunity to learn English while helping people. As a volunteer, you can go abroad, see different countries and culture. You’ll be able to help people or a cause through charities, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), Non-profit organizations, and associations.
It’s a good way to learn English because you will help local people who are native English speakers, and by speaking to them you will increase you level of English very quickly. Moreover, you will discover the UK which is a beautiful country. Helping people will change your normal daily habits; you will be doing something for the society, and work in a foreign country.
You can also work in the countryside; it’s really interesting you will plant vegetables, speak with locals, discover the British culture, taste the fresh countryside food and the British foods. You’ll improve your English through working. It’s a good program because you don’t have to pay anything except your flight or a small registration fee, just to ensure that you are a serious applicant. Your placement will pay for your accommodation and food, so you don’t have to care about the money.
In addition, you will make a lot of friends with people you helped and people who are working with you.
Depending on the chosen program, you will be able to combine your studies with some work experience for a total immersion in the British culture.
Volunteering offers others advantages: you will make a professional experience; improve your CV: During your time away you’ll find out so much about yourself. You’ll learn new skills and build on your current experience, and all of the above is great for padding out your CV. Improve your skills, learning new things and of course have a lot of fun!
